Artist Reception for Birds of the Rio Grande: Photographs by Chris Tafoya

Join us in welcoming photographer, Chris Tafoya, to the Museum of Heritage & Arts to celebrate his work!

The artist reception will highlight 12 new, unseen Chris Tafoya bird photographs. In addition, the museum will continue to feature a gallery of his work already on exhibit.

Enjoy refreshments and this exciting meet and greet opportunity with a talented, local artist.

This a rescheduled lecture following a postponement last Fall.

Dr. David Edward Stuart

David Edward Stuart, Ph.D. is an internationally recognized anthropologist whose works include Prehistoric New Mexico, Anasazi America, The Guaymas Chronicles, and the recently released Ancient People of the Pajarito Plateau. He earned his Ph.D. in anthropology from the University of New Mexico and he served many years at UNM as associate provost for academic affairs. Dr. Stuart has been a lecturer at the School for Advanced Research in Santa Fe as well as in Edinburgh, London, Mexico City, and at the Sorbonne in Paris.
