Activities and Books for Adults

Tablet Tutor - Friday Jan. 16, 2pm

Bring in your IPAD, Kindle, Android, or other E-Reader, and we will discuss how to use it as well as what resources you have available through the library.

Genealogy Workshop - Jan. 19 - 6pm and 7pm

Join Pamela Schwartz, Boone County Historical Soc. Executive Director, as we discuss genealogical research.

Adult Fiction

NEEDLECRAFT Every Tuesday at 6:30pm

Knit Night has been expanded in both scope and times. Bring your project, or just stop in for some tips. All experience levels welcomed. Join us every Tuesday at 6:30 in the Fireplace Room on the First Floor.

Midweek Matinee

Wednesdays (other than the 1st of the month), stop by the Ericson Public Library at 3pm for the Midweek Matinee. Sit back, have a snack, and relax with friends and a movie.

This month we will be featuring movies about teams.

Activities and Books for Kids


Stop in and enjoy a story in our Children's Department.

Storytime is every Wednesday and Thursday at 10AM.

We also have a story time on Saturday, January 17th, at 10am

A special Sensory Storytime will be taking place on Saturday, January 240th, at 10AM and 10:15AM, please call our Children's Department to register.

Storytime Special - Wednesday Jan. 21 - 10am

Special Guest Reader - City Administrator, Luke Nelson will be reading "Don't Push the Button" as a part of our Bridge to Reading program. Children will be voting on their favorite book and see which becomes the state-wide winner. Through April, we will be welcoming guest readers for this program.

Lego Technic - 1st - 5th graders - Wednesday Jan. 14th - 3pm

This month we are finishing our cars to race.

Stop in and join a team!

Mincraft - January 21st - 1st - 5th graders - After school til 5:30pm

Join us in the Children’s Department as we go into the world of Minecraft. Enjoy building and playing with friends. Bring your own iPad/laptop or use one of the library’s computers. No registration required.
