Thank you for supporting the Gone With the Wind Gala

We thank our supporters and the Branson Regional Arts Council for their efforts to make the Gone With the Wind Gala a success. We had several attendees that dressed for the event. You would think they were going to Twelve Oaks for a barbeque!

We've already received requests to do it again. We're thinking of Breakfast at Tiffany's or a Sound of Music singalong.

Alzheimer's: What are the Signs and Symptoms

Tuesday, Oct. 16 @ 6 PM - This session will be led by Melissa Ford, Community Educator from the Alzheimer's Association Greater Missouri Chapter. You will learn the general information on Alzheimer's and discover the signs and symptoms. In addition, basic info on services provided through the Alzheimer's Association will be presented. Magazines Now Available from Libby!

Have you noticed that magazines are now available from Libby? For the first time, readers can read magazines in OverDrive’s Libby app alongside ebooks and audiobooks. Over 70 top-selling magazines are available on your smartphone, tablet, ereader, or laptop.

Once you've downloaded the Libby app, log in with your library card number and password. Your password is your last name with the first letter capitalized.

Top ranked titles available include Reader’s Digest, O, The Oprah Magazine, ESPN, Newsweek, HGTV Magazine, The Atlantic, PC World, New York Magazine, and many other popular publications.

Volunteers needed in the Library

We are looking for volunteers to work a 3-4 hour shift at least once a week. Currently we have openings on Tuesday morning, Thursday afternoon, and Friday afternoon. The morning shift is 10 - 1 and the afternoon shift is 1-5.

Qualifications : basic computer skills, knowledge of how to operate a copier and fax machine, and a willingness to provide good customer service. If interested, please contact Marcia or Erica. A volunteer form is available from our website.

Little Shop of Horrors Playing at Historic Owen Theatre - Oct. 25 - Nov. 4

A deviously delicious Broadway and Hollywood sci-fi smash musical, Little Shop Of Horrors has devoured the hearts of theatre goers for over 30 years. Howard Ashman and Alan Menken (Disney's The Little Mermaid, Beauty And The Beast, and Aladdin) are the creative geniuses behind what has become one of the most popular shows in the world.
