Let Summer Reading Begin!

The 2016 Summer Reading Program Starts Monday June 6th!

June has begun and with it we begin our 2016 Summer Reading Program. We have tons of great programs scheduled and a bunch of great incentives this year.

Here is how it all works:

First, head over to our website to register so you will receive notifications on all the great programs. You can also come in to the library to register.

Children, infant to elementary, can pick up reading logs in the Children's Department. You can even pick them up while you enjoy our Summer Reading Kickoff Carnival outside the library on June 6th from 4-7! Then be sure to fill them out and come in for weekly prizes and earn credit to be used during the Library's Scholastic Book Fair happening July 18th to 23rd.

For Teens and Adults, there is no log to keep, just bookmarks to fill out and return, so it is very easy to participate. When you check out a book you will receive a bookmark, fill it out and return it with the book, it's that simple! On the bookmark you can pick from a number of prize drawings you would like to be entered in.

PLUS!

Pick up a calendar to see all our special programs happening over the next couple of months. We will be doing giveaways during a number of these events as well, so be sure to attend!

We couldn't do this without the support of patrons such as you, funding from organizations like the Lowrey Foundation and Friends of EPL, and a large number of community businesses who make donations to us throughout the year.
