June 2017 News and Events at the Glendale Public Library

Summer Reading Returns to Glendale Public Library!

Schools out, the temperature's rising and summer reading has begun!

For the last 30 years, Glendale Public Library has been offering summer reading programs for kids and teens. This summer, we're happy to offer reading fun for all ages from birth on up.

Express Yourself Summer Reading couldn't be simpler. Just stop by any Glendale Public Library and pick up a reading record at any service desk. We have forms for kids (ages 0-11), teens (ages 12-18) and adults (ages 19 and up). Take your reading record home, to the beach, to the mountains, on a roller coaster -- anywhere you read books or eBooks, or listen to audiobooks. Keep track of your reading and bring your record back to the library to claim your prizes.

If you prefer to keep track of your reading online, the Maricopa County Summer Reading Program is for you! Visit www.maricopacountyreads.org and register for Build a Better World. Log the time you read online and get prizes!

Both Express Yourself and Build a Better World run from June 1-August 1, 2017.
