Bronna Kahle Office Hours

State Representative Bronna Kahle will be holding open office hours at the Lenawee District Library. Voice your concerns and praises on Lenawee County as well as Michigan!


Community Vehicles @ The Centre

Saturday July 15th | 10 a.m. - noon

Get up close with a firetruck, ambulance and other community friendly vehicles at this program. Visit our very own Bookmobile while you're there!

The Centre is located at 1800 W US 223 in Adrian


Family Game Night

Thursday July 20th | 5 - 7 p.m.

Bring your family and invite your friends for Game Night at the Main branch. Engage in friendly competition with people you know and those you may not.

Have a favorite game? Bring it and share it with others!


MAKER CHALLENGES

DIY Dog and Cat Toys

Saturday July 1st | 4 - 5 p.m.

Drop-in to the Main branch to make toys for your furry friends! Don't have a pet? That's okay! The Humane Society has plenty of animals that would love some new toys.

Wind Power

Make wind-powered vehicles and race them against one another using leaf blowers, blow dryers and more! Registration required; grades 1 - 6

Drop by the Main branch and put your creativity to the test using the different materials and resources provided.

Messy Monday's

Monday July 3rd*, 17th and 31st @ 10:30 a.m.

A sensory-based drop-in program that lets kids explore texture, shape, color and more with messy, fun activities.


For children grades toddlers - Kindergarten.


*will feature a storytime as well

Family Storytime @ the Main Branch

Tuesday July 11th, 18th, 25th | 10:30 a.m.

Storytimes are a great way for kids to interact through reading, music, dance and more.

Every other storytime features a fun activity.
Great for kids birth - 6 years old

Come out to the Onsted library for a fun, engaging storytime!

Classroom Critters with Paul McCormick

Paul's program always delights and amuses as he presents a number of unique creatures. Previous critters have included snakes, morning doves and turtles!

Musician Copper Tom: July 12th -- Get moving and grooving with this interactive concert.

Craig Wise Comedy Juggling: July 19th -- This family program will have you laughing with Craig's hilarious juggling stunts.


Family Movie @ Britton: HOOT

Wednesday July 12th | 3 - 5 p.m.

Bring the family by for an afternoon film.

A young man (Lerman) moves from Montana to Florida with his family, where he's compelled to engage in a fight to protect a population of endangered owls.


Wii, Movies and Treats @ Onsted

Wednesday July 19th | 3 - 5 p.m.

Patrons can come and hang out at the Onsted branch to play the Wii, watch a movie, and enjoy a yummy snack. This month's movie is "The Lego Batman Movie" rated pg.


Drive-in Movie: CARS

Wednesday July 26th | 2 - 4 p.m.

Kids will be able to make their own box-cars to watch the Pixar film from! Enjoy popcorn while you watch.


Kindergarten Readiness with Cliffford the Dog

Saturday July 29th | 10:30 a.m.

Everyone's favorite big red dog will be stopping by to help kids get ready for Kindergarten!
