Dog Days of Summer Are Here

Hello Everyone, things are a little quieter at the library this month as we transition from our very successful Summer Reading Program to what promises to be a excellent Fall. There are still a few programs to attend this month, but expect to see even more great things in September and beyond.

Explore Iowa

Ericson Public Library in partnership with the Boone Area Convention and Visitor's Bureau bring you a quarterly series all about fun things to do and see in Iowa.

We will be kicking off the Explore Iowa Series with a presentation about Fall Colors and Hidden Gems of Eastern Iowa presented by Carrie Koekler, Executive Director of the Eastern Iowa Tourism Association. Plus fun things to do in and around Boone County this fall.

Boone County Master Gardeners continue their series of presentations covering multiple gardening and growing topics.

This Month: Jean Rhodes discusses Popular Pollinators.

Meets in the Children's Department Storytime Room.

Genealogy Workshop

August 25, 6pm

Join us as we utilize Ancestry.com Library Edition to look deeper into our history. Special guest Pam Schwartz, Executive Director of the Boone County Historical Society will help us get over genealogical hurdles.

Needlecraft Every Tuesday at 6:30pm

Bring your knitting, crochet, quilt, or other project to work on, maybe even learn something new. Meets on 1st Floor, in the Fireplace Room.
