The Beatles: Band of the Sixties

Tuesday September 19th | 6 - 7 p.m. @ the Main branch


Presented by Beatles scholar Aaron Krerowicz, explore the band's influence on the music scene, from their time in Germany, through Beatlemania and all the way to Abbey Road. The program will feature audio clips of music as well as interviews with band members. Great for Beatles lovers of all ages!

Reconstruction in the U.S.

Tuesday September 12th | 6 - 7:30 p.m. @ the Main Branch

Presented by local historian Ray Lennard, learn about the significance of war memorials and monuments, and how it all relates to the current conflict over the Confederate statues.

There will also be an open-floor for those wishing to discuss the topic afterwards.
